Arabic Play-dough Game

Stuck Inside? Kids bored? This homemade play-dough recipe is awesome on those long days at home. I got the idea to make play dough from Lunar Learners on Facebook/instagram but I substituted lemon juice for the cream of tartar she uses since I do not have any!

Ingredients:

2 cups of flour

1/2 cup salt

1 and 1/2 cup boiling water

2 tbs of oil

Approximately 6 tbs of lemon juice which I found to be the juice of three small lemons food coloring of your choice scented essential oil of your choice, I used sweet orange.

Mix all ingredients together except colors and add essential oil.

With the lemon juice substitution you also have to heat the mixture on the stove (only for like thirty seconds and remove instantly once it starts to solidify)

You can add up to 1/2 cup of flour at this point if you feel it is watery. If a little sticky, it is fine, it will work out later once cool!

Remove small parts of the mixtrue and add food coloring of your choice. Place on wax paper. Cool in the fridge and use!!
