Craft It Kit Eid Countdown

I have to be honest, when I first ordered the @craft.it.kit box and looked at the crafts, I was worried. I liked the idea, don’t get me wrong.The reason I was worried was that I was unsure of how much these crafts would require from me to put effort in Ramadan. I was wondering if the crafts would take too much time to complete, and if that would cause the kids to get restless, or that I might get tired from doing the activities. I also was skeptical of how much the company would actually be able to be put in these boxes, and was worried that it would be a let-down.⠀ ⠀ Well, from the moment the box arrived, I was pleased at the kids’ reactions. They were excited at the beautiful designs on the box and the cute boxes inside. The outside box is beautiful and actually really sturdy. If taken care of, it can easily be saved and reused as a countdown calendar filled with treats every year. ⠀ ⠀ The inside crafts also were wonderful; most did not require too much work from me. Some were simple enough for the kids to follow, but also contained beautiful activities with moral messages. Some needed extra help from me, but they were creative and fun to do. One of my favorites was that on day two, the kids learned about patience and started a cute banner that needs to slowly be put together from different boxes over time until Eid. My kids excitedly wait until they can open this box every day for completing this craft.⠀ ⠀ Another favorite was the sunflower seed packet, and the craft of planting the seed and watching it grow.⠀ ⠀ One of the other nice aspects of the kit is that each box is turned over to become a part of a puzzle. At the end of Ramadan, the kids can look at a beautiful puzzle that gives them a sense of satisfaction at finishing their calendar crafts.⠀ ⠀ @craft.it.kit has truly created a wonderful Ramadan countdown crafting kit for children, and I can’t wait to see how the crafts progress more as Eid approaches.
