Crescent Moons and Pointed Minarets by @henakhanbooks and published by Chronicle Books is one of my absolute favorite Ramadan stories. It is suitable for ages 2 and up, with its lovely rhyme and vibrant pictures. (I love how it is styled in the old Arab art form! It just adds to the book’s character)

The book teaches the kids their shapes, while relating each shape to an Islamic theme. Such an awesome way to have the kids notice their surroundings with a new “Islamic” perspective.
