Good Deeds Jar

A few Ramadans ago, I made this Good Deeds jar for my son. I wrote good deeds on popsicle sticks and stuck them inside. (One of the most important ones was not to wake me if I was sleeping😅) He sincerely enjoyed pulling out the sticks and doing various good deeds around the house. It reinforced to him that good deeds are not only prayers and dhikr and Quran (those were included as well), but good deeds are to have good manners and take care of family members.

This is based on the Ahadith:

The Prophet(pbuh) said, "If one has good manners, one may attain the same level of merit as those who spend their nights in prayer."

The Prophet (pbuh) said: “The most beloved of Allah’s servants to Allah are those with the best manners.”

May Allah increase us and our children in manners. Ameen!
