Journal of AN Awesome Muslim Kid

This Islamic journal by Paradise Pearls Club is absolutely beautiful and very useful. My kids personally loved it and enjoyed filling out a page each day. ⠀ ⠀ The introduction talks about Allah’s love, which is an important lesson to teach to kids, as well as instructions on how to use the journal, and what morals will be taught.⠀ ⠀ The journal starts with a bucket list of good deeds, which my kids loved drawing and adding to. This was the perfect start to encourage the kids to use the journal.⠀ ⠀ There are four sections of the journal, and each starts with a beautiful intro page.⠀ ⠀ I really like how the journal is interactive. It highlights one ayah each day, and then offers a moral for the child to learn. Then it has an area for the child to write down his/her notes and plans to implement the moral during the day. This was really inspiring to my kids, and I loved these little lessons that we easily included in our day and that took us only a short amount of time to complete.⠀ ⠀ The Ayahs are written in both Arabic and English, and the font of both is clear, big, and easy to read. I like how the Arabic has harakat that make it easy to teach the kids to read the short ayah. The ayah is not too long and not hard to sound out, but I might suggest adding a transliteration to the next edition for Arabic as a second language readers.⠀ ⠀ The ayahs are all highlighted in an index in the back, which makes them easy to look up in the Quran. Even the index is beautifully made and highlighted, making it easy to go through.⠀ ⠀ My kids loved circling the weather of the day, as well as circling how much of their task they completed (the shapes). I like how the shapes, colors, and pictures all come together to create a wonderful product that children are sure to enjoy! It is the perfect amount of vibrant colors that interest children while not overwhelming them.⠀ ⠀ Honestly, I was surprised myself at how much I loved this journal and how much my kids loved using it. I would recommend it for ages 6 plus.⠀ ⠀ This journal is available at Precious pearls
