Life of Muhammad the Sublime

Genre: Seerah Book in Poetry/Verse⠀

Ages: 12 and up⠀

Available: @crescentmoonbookstore@al.rawda

Islamic notes: the story of Bahirah in Syria and the story of the Spiderweb at Cave Thawr are mentioned, although according to Yasir Qadhi’s seerah, they are weak narrations.⠀

Honestly, I was really moved by this book. One of my favorite pages was the one about Taif, and I was really brought to tears with how much I connected with the duaa of the Prophet (pbuh) and felt his struggles.⠀

The book does a good job of going through the Seerah in chronological order. Most everything was very impressively sourced on the pages themselves through footnotes, and the book as a whole felt very accurate and authentic. ⠀

The Seerah is divided into chapters, and each Chapter is a poem discussing an event in the life of the Prophet (pbuh). I was very impressed with the smoothness and flow of the rhyme, although there were a couple places where it did feel like it could have been improved linguistically.⠀

I genuinely loved this book, and I recommend it to any young Muslims, as well as Adults, to learn the Seerah of our beloved Prophet. Not only is it informative, but the poetic rhyme moves the hearts and brings the reader an insight into the life of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), which leads the reader to feel so much love for him.⠀

It was pointed out to me that this version is the older edition and a newer and improved edition has been published! Check it out!
