My First Iqra

Genre: Board Book⠀ Ages: 0-3⠀ Available: @kubepublishing ⠀ This Arabic Alphabet Board Book is absolutely adorable! ⠀ ⠀ I love how it is the perfect book for introducing reading and writing the Arabic Alphabet to kids, and it does so in a fun and colorful way. ⠀ ⠀ 7 letters are shown on each page spread, and the letters are deeply etched/touch and feel, so you can trace them with your fingers. I love how the letters are written in transliteration, which will help beginning readers and non-Arabic fluent parents with reading to their kids.⠀ ⠀ The second page spreads include another place to practice drawing with a dry-erase marker, with each letter written in dotted lines for ease of tracing.⠀ ⠀ I like how the book added hamza ء and lam alif لا to the letters for added knowledge.⠀ ⠀ The last two page spreads are harakat- which writes the letters with harakat, and also adds the transliteration.⠀ ⠀ This is such a cute intro book to the Arabic Alphabet and the illustrations make it super exciting for the kids to learn from. ⠀ ⠀ Check it out!
