Paint Sadaqah Space Jar

This was in the ages 5-9 box of the @bismillahboxkidsin which the theme was- Reach for Jannah: Space⠀ ⠀ Rating: 10/10⠀ ⠀ This Sadaqah Jar from @twocraftistaswas one of my kid’s favorite items in the whole box!!⠀ ⠀ There are two sides to paint, and it comes with a paint colors container and a paintbrush. One side says “Reach for Jannah” and the other says “Sadaqah can take me all the way to Jannah inshaAllah.”⠀ ⠀ I love the emphasis on charity and teaching our kids about the importance of giving in Islam. Having a small jar that they painted nearby helps them be excited to save money in their jars and take the money later to the masjid donation box. ⠀ ⠀ While your kids paint, it is a wonderful time to discuss charity with your kid and how it is a big part of our religion and a pillar of Islam. ⠀ ⠀ Having children that are conscious of others around them ensures that they will be more empathetic towards the world around them, and it will decrease selfish impulses.⠀ ⠀ Encouraging children to save up money and give in charity also encourages financial health and awareness and helps children realize that money is not to be spent only on “stuff” but needs to be divided accordingly.⠀ Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) says: When a man dies, his acts come to an end, but three: recurring charity, or knowledge (by which people) benefit, or a pious son, who prays (for the deceased). This hadith is so beautiful and emphasizes how important charity is for leaving a good legacy behind and continuing to get good deeds after we are unable to perform any more. Remember to mention this hadith while your kids paint❤️ May our kids perform good deeds and reach for Jannah inshaAllah! ⠀ Check out this jar sold individually by @twocraftistas
