I absolutely love this cute board book!!⠀

The first thing I noticed was how high-quality the board book pages were and the large size of the book. The illustrations blew me away with how detailed and gorgeous they were!⠀

The book basically introduces different foods to the whale and his little human buddy. You are asked to say salaam to the different foods and then before the whale takes a big bite, you are reminded to say Bismillah!⠀

There are two healthy foods, one dessert, and one meal, and I really liked how the variety of foods were presented to the children. I feel like it’s a healthy way to teach kids that a variety of food is good for a balanced diet. I feel like this book would be good for a picky eater to learn that eating can be fun!⠀

I also really liked how the book had repetition and by the end of the book, my two-year-old had started to say Salam on her own to the different foods and repeat bismillah by herself before the whale took a bite.⠀

I also really liked scanning the QR code on the front of the book, and my toddler made me play it over and over and over. The catchy song was super fun to listen to.⠀

I am super happy with this book and I can’t wait to see more books from this publisher!⠀
