The Coolest Career

A cute book beautifully illustrated and fun to read aloud! Genre: Picture Book Ages : 5-8 Author: Ruba Qasem Illustrated by Golnar Servatian Self-Published This book starts with two siblings who want to figure out the best career. They explore what each person does, whether a chef, scientist, astronaut, construction worker and more. Interlaced with the text are rhymes, and alliteration, although to be honest, I found this forced at times. I am not sure the language or rhyme was completely successful, but it was overall enjoyable to read aloud. Nonetheless it is a beautiful book, one beautifully illustrated, and my kids enjoyed flipping through it! And the ending, the resolution of what the coolest career was made us smile.
