This book came in last month’s @bismillahboxkids and it is absolutely another delightful book by @lunar_learners 🎉🎉⠀

(Fun fact: I actually was an editor for this book😉)⠀

As per usual, this book of the Prophet series follows a similar style. I love the different animals and their cute comments, the lyrical flowy words, the vibrant illustrations, and the fact that the book focuses on one aspect of a Prophet’s life This makes it a good resource for younger children who are being introduced to prophet stories. ⠀

This book focused on the revelation of the Quran to our beloved Prophet (pbuh). It follows the footsteps of the animals as they follow the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) through the streets of Makkah and all the way up Jabal Alnoor and to the cave of Hira. They learn how the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) received revelation of the Quran from Angel Jibreel, how the Quran was revealed in Ramadan, and how the Quran is important to learn. This makes it a super awesome book for Ramadan🌙🌙🌙⠀

One of my favorite parts was that the animals were all native to Makkah and the images in the book felt so authentic. I also appreciated that the book did not portray the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in any way, and it was in a curious fun story format that is sure to draw the kids in. ⠀

The author was super careful to make sure that all the Islamic information in the book was accurate, and that is something I really appreciated as well!⠀

The last page was the animals reciting Quran and I loved how the book teaches that the way we follow the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) ourselves is by learning the Quran. The ending actually had me tear up because I felt love towards our beloved Prophet (pbuh) and the pages radiated a special feeling of serenity and peace.⠀

The book contains a glossary of Islamic words at the end for more learning.⠀
