The Way to Jannah

The Way to Jannah is by Yasmin Mussa and published by Learning Roots.

It is perfect for ages 3 and up.

It introduces them to Islamic sayings and the reasons that they are said.

The sayings are displayed under cute pop ups and are fun to discover with the kids!

I love how they let the kids know at the end of the story that the way to Jannah is through the shahada! Its brings up the importance of teaching this basic aqeeda issue to one's children about the need to believe in Allah and the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

My only note is that you might have to explain why there are no faces on the people, but that does not take away from the special lessons the book teaches.

(It might be a perfect time to explain that there are different schools of thought in Islam, with some saying pictures are not okay)
