Top Three Islamic Books for Three Year Olds

At age three, children are starting to develop their language skills. They start learning their numbers and colors, and start expressing their desire to learn more. They start asking questions about the world around them. This is the age where children start asking “why” a lot. They want to know why you do things, and your answer affects how they internalize messages around them and behave in their life. ⠀ ⠀ I have picked my top three Islamic children’s books that are perfect for this inquisitive age. Please check out the reviews of them in my feed. To find prices and direct links to purchase, please head to my website blog section. Book reviews have their own category, and the pictures make it easy to scroll through.⠀ ⠀ 1. Zaydo Potato- “Can Allah See Me Now?” This book by Rummana Publishing is perfect for three-year-olds. The story talks about how Allah can always see you, no matter where you hide. This is perfect for children who are curious to learn more about Allah! I love this whole series because at the end of each is a whole activity section, with look and find activities (like I SPY) that have the child go back through the book. Zaydo Potato ⠀ ⠀ 2. “My First Quran Activity Book” by ZairZabrPlay is awesome for three-year-olds. It contains stories of the Prophets, and each story contains magnets that help the children with their hand-eye coordination and visual learning. My favorite activity is the area at the end of the book where children can weave a string through small holes, to symbolize the spider web that covered the cave where the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was hiding. Zair Zabr Play⠀ ⠀ 3. “Golden Domes and Silver Lanterns” by Hena Khan is perfect for this age group. It flows in beautiful rhyme and has pictures with historical Islamic Art concepts. It teaches kids their colors and relates each to an Islamic theme.
